After the first two successful Sunny Days projects that are already sold out, there is a new Sunny Days project consisting of 25 villas, which will be built on a large amphitheatrical plot on the outskirts of the village of Asomatos in southern Crete.

The villas are designed in the stunning Cyclades style we all know from postcards, with white walls with signature rounded corners, olive green frames and shutters, and infinity-effect swimming pools. With a height difference of approximately 5 meters between each level within the project, the views of the sea and the surroundings are guaranteed to take your breath away.

Most villas offer an exceptional south-facing frontal sea view towards the bays of Souda, Plakias, and Damnoni, and even the Paximadia islands from some properties. The six villas on the western side of the plot offer an east-facing view of the surrounding hills and the Paximadia islands.

There are 19 villas with two bedrooms, starting at € 210,000, five villas with three bedrooms, starting at € 255,000, and one villa with one bedroom, priced at € 158,000. All villas have their own plot and parking space. All one-level villas have planted green roofs, not only providing the best bioclimatic living conditions inside the villa but also offering a natural view from the other villas on the higher levels.

Each villa comes fully finished with all the necessary amenities, including kitchen appliances and air conditioning. The price includes the plot and the completed villa with a swimming pool, excluding furniture. Additional expenses for purchasing a Sunny Days villa are approximately 6% of the purchase sum, which includes all taxes, notary and registry fees, and our service fees.

Rentals
These properties are an excellent choice if you are looking for a combination of own use and rentals, or if you are interested in investing in a property to generate extra rental income. Crete has the longest holiday season of all Greek islands, and the south of Crete is very popular for villa rentals, from early April until November.

Location
The village of Asomatos is a nice, typical village of Southern Crete, just a half-hour drive away from the vibrant town of Rethymnon, and less than 10 minutes from the popular seaside village of Plakias. Asomatos has amenities such as a mini market, a restaurant, a pottery shop, a wood carving workshop and even a small museum. Many fantastic beaches in the area are just a few minutes' drive away.
