A charming old stone house which sits half way up to the village of Volissos (2 min. Walk), with a wonderful view to the Aegean Sea from its large terrace and approx. 2 km away from the beaches of Lefkathia and Limnos.

Completely refurbished (2021) while retaining the feel of a traditional village dwelling, the home is comfortable, fully decorated with antique furnitures, hand-picked and restored from the owners and equipped with all amenities.
Layout
The house is organised on two levels:

The first level comprises of a living room/kitchen that leads out to the large private terrace with a stunning views over the village and the Aegean Sea. The bathroom is also on this level.

Through an internal staircase you get yourself to the upper level. It consists of a large beautiful room with a comfortable double bed, a fireplace and a desk/workspace. It has a charming terrace (22 sqm) and a separate entrance through a path which winds its way down to the center of the village.

The room has air-conditioning, a fan and the bed has a mosquito net. The kitchen has a small cooker, fridge, kettle, coffee maker, toaster as well as everything you need to cook at home if you want to. Other features include wifi and parking space close to the property.

Filled with artefacts and memories of the past, this house just could be it! Currently run as a successful B& B business, it can be the ideal retreat for a couple and a smart investment opportunity.
Location
Volissos lies on the north west coast of the island of Chios, approx. 40 km from the main town, port and airport. It is 2 km from the little harbour and marina of Limnia and the nearest beaches of Lefkathia and Limnos.

Just a little further away is the 6 km long Managros beach, where it is always easy to find a quiet spot to enjoy the crystal clear waters of the Aegean. Apart from these, whichever way you go up or down the coast, there are numerous beaches to choose from.

Volissos has quite a few tavernas, either in the village or down by the sea, offering a wide choice of delicious Greek food as well as a couple of cafe bars. The village has two mini markets, a butcher, a baker and even a candle maker. A green grocer comes around three times a week, while local fishermen come around with the catch of the day.

Lastly, there is a Pharmacy, Post Office, Police Station and Atm machine. Volissos has a small clinic with a doctor available 24/7.
