Unique, historic commercial building of a total surface of 439 square meters located right in the heart of downtown Piraeus.
The building was initially constructed in 1930, it was completely restored in 2010 and renovated again in 2024. The aesthetics of the building remind a glorious era of the commercial port of Piraeus and they have been kept absolutely intact during the restoration, which was quite a challenging task.
The building has a total of three floors and five levels, due to the fact that both the ground floor and the third floor have mezzanines.
The ground floor level which is the entrance level comprises of a reception room and a large working space. It also has an office double Wc, a kitchenette and access to the underground storage. The most unique and distinct element of the ground floor level is of course the ruins of an ancient aqueduct underneath, dated back to the Roman era of Piraeus. The ruins were restored by the relevant archaeological service during the restoration of the building, they are compliantly ventilated and lighted and are now a marvelous part of the space aesthetics. The ground floor also comes with a mezzanine as stated above, of very convenient ceiling height, capable of hosting at least four work spaces.
The second floor is open spaced, rectangular, capable of hosting a large number of working spaces, with many windows allowing ample light in. It also has a business bathroom and a kitchenette.
The third level can be used as a vary spacious management office, with more than adequate space for a meeting table, a secretariat office and also separate small storage/utilities space on the side. It also comes with its own full bathroom and kitchenette and also a small mezzanine.
As mentioned above, the restoration and further renovation of the building was quite a task, the biggest reason being the fact that it is listed as protected monument. Every last bit of the exterior looks had to be restored and protected and every step of the restoration was closely monitored by a municipal committee, in order to protect the historic architecture.
On top of the above, when it comes to modern business standards, the building remarkably well equipped. There is a modern internal elevator, going through all three floors. The choice, quality and craftsmanship of the materials is outstanding, including lavish wooden floors and designer tiles. Literally kilometers in length of wiring have been used in the building as it has both standard Ups linked and ethernet sockets everywhere. To put the wiring quality into perspective, the total number of in-wall ethernet sockets is a staggering 178! Industrial electricity supply, ethernet racks, a fully functional alarm system and the small-room-size switchboard that includes the Ups, have already been installed and are ready to use.
